Share the Science: STEM 1.0

Share the Science®: STEM offers an immersive virtual community garden experience that allows viewers to explore the principles of science, technology, engineering, and math through the perspective of a young child. This initiative was developed following discussions at the 2016 Early Childhood STEM Conference in California (ECSTEM), where educators voiced their challenges in conveying the importance of early STEM education.

The program utilizes translational research from the FrameWorks Institute to align with American perceptions of STEM, aiming to equip educators and advocates with effective strategies for communicating the value of early STEM learning. This thoughtful approach enhances the ability of educators to articulate their insights and promote early childhood STEM education more successfully.

To engage with Share the Science: STEM, users will need a viewer such as Google Cardboard, providing an accessible entry point for this enriching virtual reality experience.
